Ever wondered if the amount of paper we use per year if collected for the whole world,  how much waste will it generate?
It's almost unimaginable the amount of paper we will collect.
But ever wondered the lives are taken ( I mean trees cut down) per year? It's the account we should obviously make people notice to:

• As we speak, more than 199 tons of paper have already been produced.
• 6889000 hectares of forests are already cut. (this year)
• About 15,000,000,000 trees are cut down every year,
• 324 liters of water are used to make 1 kilogram of paper.
• 10 liters of water are needed to make one piece of A4 paper.
• 93% of paper comes from trees.
• 50% of the waste of businesses is composed of paper.
• To print a Sunday edition of the New York Times requires 
• 75,000 trees!
• Recycling 1 ton of paper saves around 682.5 gallons of oil,
•  26,500 liters of water and 17 trees.
• Packaging makes up 1/3 or more of our trash.
• U.S offices use 12.1 trillion sheets of paper a year. 
• Paper accounts for 25% of landfill waste and 33% of municipal waste.
• With all the paper we waste each year, we can build a 12-foot high wall of paper from New York to California!
• The lessening of paper usage was predicted due to the electronic revolution. It didn’t happen. Demand for paper is expected to double before 2030.
• Every tree produces enough oxygen for 3 people to breathe.

I mean are you people getting how many innocent lives we took for our daily needs? Oh come on, trees to have lives. 

Okay let's come back to the discussion, obviously, we can't cut off paper use obviously but we can decrease the usage right?

That's where DIGITIZATION comes into a very important role.

Using phones and the features available for the public for daily needs and work and making them habitual too is very important nowadays.

As far as I remember, there is a precautionary measure that 

we must use digital payment as more as possible and avoid

Well with your phone/pc/laptop and its capability to store thousands and lakhs of the document at one place, safe and secure and easier to be fetched in future makes it handier than handling a thousand sheets of paper and xeroxes. This will also save many trees.

3. Feeling lazy to move out and go shop to shop for shopping?
Well, being digital adds up one more facility to the users and that is online shopping. You can find lakhs of products according to your needs by sitting at home and get the same product at your doorstep. No, you don't worry to pay exact amount x.15 in cash. Why? because you can pay online and it's safe when you shop from authorized websites.

4.LOCKDOWN! Obviously would have felt bored. But did you hear the word WORK FROM HOME? 
Many daily workers and employees who were earning on their daily basis and were in private organizations, earn as their company was allowing their employees to work from their laptops and PCs by sitting at home and completing tasks. This digitization not only helped the employees but didn't allow the economy to fall more than it has had.

Many banks in India have provided their own apps on the AppStore and play store where it's users can do transactions online using the internet. This is something saving so much of the time of people around right?












So it is seen that how the phone has replaces so many burdens and papers in human life. So are you a digitized person or the one who is responsible for deforestation?
